Sushi Hotaru, The Galeries

Sushi Hotaru is our favorite place for sushi (Especially the above Salmon Nigiri!), it’s a fairly new place that opened up about a year ago in the Galeries Victoria at Town Hall 🙂  Most of the dishes are only $3 which is pretty standard for a CBD sushi train restaurant.

Even though we’ve been to Sushi Hotaru at least 5 times we always order the Tofu and Mushroom plate (top), it’s like a tradition because it’s just so great tasting with a really great mix of soy sauce and agedashi tofu with mushrooms.

Japanese Vege Pancake (Okonomoyaki)

Mr C is obsessed with this for some reason,  It’s delicious but I don’t see why he always orders it because I’d rather try other dishes as well. On the other hand… GRILLED. SALMON. my absolute favorite dish that I can eat for the rest of my life. So soft and tasty with wasabi!

HIGHLIGHT DISH: Grilled. Salmon.

Sushi Hotaru is probably the most conveniently located Sushi place that we love to eat it, great fresh sushi and decent prices keep us coming back constantly! If you’re looking for a relaxed environment and good sushi this is the place for sure.

Every year they seem to have a anniversary day where all dishes are $2, we went to their first one and the line was massive, on the bright side we ordered about 5 dishes of Grilled Salmon Nigiri which only came out at $10, probably the best deal I’ve ever had for Sushi. Keep a look out for that date if you want cheap sushi!

  1. Howdy! This is kind of off topic but I need some help from
an established blog. Is it tough to set up
your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any points or suggestions? Many thanks
