Grill’d, Darling Harbour

Grill’d is definitely my favourite place for a quick and tasty burger in Sydney. Ever since hearing about them a few years ago during the buy one get one free deals I’ve visited over twenty times and tried almost every single burger on the menu, all of which have tasted amazing. Grill’d is a burger joint chain has a strong emphasis on fresh and high quality ingredients which shines through in their menu items, the beef in the beef burgers are soft and juicy and the sauces (herb mayo!!) are very good tasting.

On our most recent visit to Grill’d Miss K ordered the Field of Dreams (above) burger which is a vegetarian choice with a large grilled field mushroom in place of a meat patty. I almost always pick the panini bun as it’s soft and tasty and the fillings for this burger include herb mayo, basil pesto, roasted peppers, cheese and the standard vegetables (lettuce/tomato).

I chose my favourite Crispy Bacon and Cheese burger as usual, this is my perfect beef burger. The meat patty melts and is soft and juicy, other fillings include bacon, cheese, relish and herbed mayo. One of things I really love about Grill’d is the consistency across all their stores – I’ve yet to have a bad burger and any small mistakes are immediately rectified with a replacement.

Every visit to Grill’d is never complete without the must order hot chips with herbs accompanied with herb mayo. The chips are always crispy and the herb mayo is the perfect dip for them. This particular visit also included a lemon and lime bitters, nothing special here but it was refreshing with the burgers! I highly recommend visiting Grill’d if you’ve never been as even though the burgers cost approx $12, the value you get is quite good considering the top notch ingredients.
