Temasek, Parramatta

Mr C and I were in Parramatta for lunch one weekend and were looking for Circa Espresso, unfortunately Mr C looked over the fact that they only opened on weekdays so as an alternative we ended up having lunch at Temasek a few minutes walk away. I remember being here with my parents a long time ago but I don’t remember anything else except that it was quite good and very popular, that was the same the day we visited as the restaurant was already full even on a quiet weekend.
After a quick skim of the menu I already decided that I was going to order Hainan Chicken Rice (above) because I was craving it for so long and it was the first chance I had to order it in ages. I was very happy with this Hainan chicken because it was served boneless and the rice was very fragrant, I would definitely come back just to have this dish because of how good it tasted!

Mee Goreng

Mr C decided to order the Mee Goreng because we hadn’t had a proper dish of Mee Goreng since our visit to Chinta Ria quite a while back. I don’t think he expected it to be so spicy but I could tell he was finding it much spicier than he expected because he looked like he was struggling to finish it 😀 I mean, how spicy can Mee Goreng be? In the end I had to help him finish it and found the dish to be very good with good amounts of meat and egg, although it was definitely spicier than usual.

Ice Coconut Juice

As I’m sure you know because of my last few posts, I’ve been addicted to coconut drinks ever since returning from Thailand. Whenever I visit a restaurant that has coconut drink on the menu I have to order it because it’s just so good, very sweet and refreshing especially when served icy cold.

Overall my impressions of Temasek are very positive and the food is definitely very good value considering the serving sizes (the Laksa we saw was huge), I believe the owners are Singaporean because of all the photos of Merlion and Singapore on the walls. I will definitely be back to visit later but it would be nice if it was in a better location closer to Parramatta Westfield so I can visit here during my shopping weekends!

  7. Throughout the great design of things you’ll receive an A+ with regard to effort and hard work. Exactly where you misplaced me personally ended up being in your details. You know, it is said, the devil is in the details… And that could not be much more true right here. Having said that, let me reveal to you just what did give good results. The text can be quite convincing which is most likely why I am making the effort to comment. I do not make it a regular habit of doing that. Secondly, even though I can easily see a jumps in reason you come up with, I am not confident of exactly how you seem to connect the ideas which in turn produce the actual final result. For right now I will, no doubt yield to your point but trust in the future you actually connect your dots better.
