Hub House Diner, Dulwich Hill

Hub House Diner is a cafe and diner located right in the heart of Dulwich Hill and is one of the most popular eateries in the area, for good reason too. Hub House Diner serves up a variety of breakfast items as well as a more substantial lunch and dinner menu with a lot of crowd pleasers.

Vege burger – Zucchini Fritter, Wild Rocket, Beetroot Relish, Labne, Aioli, Hot Sauce

I was dining with a friend who decided to go with the vege burger made with a zucchini fritter. I’m generally a fan of zucchini so the burger looked quite tasty and was served with a generous side of fries.

I was genuinely surprised when the chicken arrived because for some reason I had completely forgotten how large a half chicken actually is. The chicken was tender and coated in a delicious and zesty lemon chilli sauce.

The coffee served at Hub House Diner is the Fiori house blend from Di Bella Coffee. The coffee I tried was served up quite nice and smooth, with just the right amount of coffee kick to keep you awake and functioning.

If I lived closer to the area I would definitely make Hub House Diner a regular visit on weekends, the menu is very appealing and the food/service is great. The coffee is also great and the venue as a whole is quite welcoming and friendly, perfect for a weekend lunch date or catchup with friends.
