Don’t ask me what the green stuff in the water is cause it certainly wasn’t edible…
Anyways we went to Bondi recently to go sculpture by the sea, before heading off to the sculptures though we ate at Cafe Trio which was a nice cafe on the main strip just off the beach. We satat the front of the restaurant with a good view of the beach, very relaxing and one of the best views of the beach.
Prawn Tagliatielle
This was a very good dish, second time I’ve had pasta that wasn’t tomato or cream sauce. The prawns tasted very fresh and the pasta was nice and soft. I normally choose not to have a seafood based pasta as I simply don’t enjoy it as much but this is one of the exceptions to that rule and I certainly don’t regret it.
I love the wagyu spaghetti meatballs and cheese (top), but I’m not actually a big fan of bolognese sauce. Miss K still loved it though as she isn’t sick of bolognese ๐
If you’re looking for a cheap and convenient cafe at Bondi this is one of many, dishes are under $25 each and the quality of the food is excellent and definitely on par with many high end cafes in Sydney. If I’m ever in Bondi I would most likely come to Cafe Trio for a revisit.
