Burger Bro?, CBD

Burger Bro is yet another burger chain originally from New Zealand, our island neighbour seems to be quite adept at making great burgers and I certainly am not one to complain. The large selection of burgers at Burger Bro come with very interesting names (Beached Az is a great one) and variations.

The Bro – wagyu beef, egg, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, aioli, tomato sauce

I decided to go with the original burger which is described as the classic kiwi burger. I felt that this was appropriate as I wanted to compare it to other burger joints, I was certainly impressed with it – the bun is nice and soft and the beef and cheese is quite flavoursome.

Bunless Mother Clucker – chicken fillet, lettuce, tomato, aioli, cheese, pepper & mayo sauce

As you can see in the photo, I would argue that with this particular burger the bunless option doesn’t really do much to make it much more healthy. The fried chicken which is what makes up the bulk of the burger looked extra crispy and was reportedly quite good.

Overall a great visit and a great burger joint. I originally mistook the price to be excluding fries as they can also be ordered separate but was pleasantly surprised to find that they were provided by default. The venue is nice and never too crowded which makes it a great and convenient location for lunch.
