Bar Luca seems to be getting a lot of attention among the food scene, and I’ve now heard from many a source that the burgers are simply amazing. Since I realised that it was only a breezy 10 minute walk from my office I decided a Monday burger lunch with some colleagues was in order.
Blame Canada – 200g wagyu pattie, maple glazed bacon, poutine & maple aioli
Ladies and gentleman, the infamous Blame Canada. This burger without a doubt takes the title for most satisfying burger and it probably also deserves the title of most messy to eat. The maple bacon is absolutely amazing and the poutine even comes with cheese curds (how it should be!) as well as delicious gravy.
Beef Burger – 200g wagyu pattie, maple glazed bacon, cheddar, tomato, lettuce, pickles, aioli & ketchup
Some of those that couldn’t handle the pure awesome that is the Blame Canada decided to go with the Classic Cheese, a more sensible option with the same juicy wagyu pattie. Good thing they had the sense to add some of that amazing maple bacon to the order, I’m sure there were definitely no regrets there!
Bar Luca was packed to the brim even for Monday lunch, it seems all the workers around the area just can’t resist a quick and dirty delicious burger. Keep in mind that on 2-3 days of the week including Monday you get a free side of fries with your burger which just sweetens the deal even more.
The very next time I read a blog, Hopefully it won’t disappoint me as much as this particular one. After all, I know it was my choice to read through, however I genuinely believed you would probably have something interesting to talk about. All I hear is a bunch of complaining about something that you can fix if you were not too busy seeking attention.
