The pub has had a long and colourful history stretching back to 1877 and is located in a heritage listed building , it recently relaunched with a makeover and is now a family and dog friendly pub specialising in steak and wine.

We were quite hungry before arriving so we quickly got the food sorted. I quite enjoyed this entree platter simply because of the combination of warm oven baked cheese and roasted portobello mushrooms. Lavosh and warm baked cheese is a crowd pleaser and such a delicious comfort food.
