Tenkomori Ramen House, CBD

Tenkomori Ramen House is a fairly new ramen joint, they’re run by the same menya chain that owns Oiden and Menya Mappen so perhaps our expectations were a bit high.

The first bowl above was the Karaage Shoyu Ramen. The soup was really delicious but I kind of expected something more, but why complain about the cheapest ramen you can find in Sydney?! The chicken pieces were large and the ramen noodles were chewy. Too be honest, tastes quite similar (not the best though) to other Karaage Ramen in Ichiban and Menya, but as I said, CHEAP RAMEN!

Pork Katsu Tonkotsu Ramen

We’ve previously heard that Tenkomori uses milk in their Tonkotsu so I was a bit excited to try it out. However I was quite disappointed in as the milk didn’t work too well as the soup and tasted slightly sour? Also the soup wasn’t very thick, a bit watery with milk…O.O On the bright side, the pork katsu was great and wasn’t too dry, decent and filling meal overall.

Boiled Eggs

Tamago! Nothing much to comment besides the egg tasting good as per usual. 😛 Though perhaps a little bit overcooked. Overall, we may come here again, maybe if I’m feeling really cheap to buy lunch/dinner or they improve their menu and dishes.
